Terms of Service – TerraVan

1. TerraVan's Responsibility
TerraVan commits to providing a clean, fully functional, and road-legal caravan with all included accessories as per the rental agreement. All caravans are properly insured and have a valid road permit from the Israeli Ministry of Transport.
2. Renter Responsibilities
- Use the caravan and its equipment responsibly and with care.
- Operate the caravan according to the usage instructions provided by TerraVan.
- Hitch the caravan only to a vehicle that is properly rated for its size and weight and has a legally registered tow hook.
- Ensure proper connection and secure attachment before each trip, including safety chains, lighting, and brakes (if applicable).
- Turn off all electric and gas systems when the caravan is in tow.
- Close all windows and doors when the caravan is in tow.
- Return the caravan in the same clean and functional condition it was received, with all equipment included.
3. Payment, Security Deposit, and Damages
Full or partial payment will be charged upon reservation confirmation. A security deposit of ₪5,000 will be held on a credit card to cover potential damage. The deposit will be refunded within 7 business days after the rental ends, pending inspection. TerraVan reserves the right to withhold or deduct from the deposit in case of damage, missing items, or contract violations.
4. Cancellation Policy
- 30+ days before rental: Full refund.
- 8–29 days before rental: 50% refund.
- 0–7 days before rental: No refund.
24-hour grace period: Full refund within 24 hours of booking confirmation (only if the rental begins in more than 48 hours). Date changes are possible with at least 14 days’ notice, subject to availability. In case of cancellation by TerraVan, a full refund will be issued.
5. Legal Capacity
Only users aged 21 and above with legal capacity may make a reservation. By completing a booking, you confirm you meet these conditions.
6. Product Delivery Policy
The platform provides RV rental services and related products in accordance with the order details as entered and approved by the user. Delivery of the caravan will take place at the time, place, and under the conditions agreed with the user at the time of booking. The user undertakes to be available to receive the caravan at the agreed time and place and to return it at the end of the rental period in accordance with the terms specified in the rental agreement. If the user fails to meet these conditions, the company reserves the right to charge additional fees in accordance with the damage or expenses incurred.
7.Privacy Policy
The company respects the privacy of users on the platform and acts in accordance with privacy protection laws. User information collected during registration and use of the site (such as name, address, phone number, email address, payment details, and other provided data) will be used solely for providing the services offered on the platform, handling orders, improving the user experience, contacting when necessary, and as required by law. The company undertakes not to transfer the information to third parties without the user’s consent, except where required by law or to fulfill the order and delivery.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Jurisdiction lies exclusively with the competent courts in the Tel Aviv district.
